On Saturday we were greeted with high flows and amazing weather. Followed by waking up hungover on Sunday to a snow blizzard. "Need to harden the f*ck up mate".
Over the weekend we ran a few laps on Icicle and a couple on Tumwater. I'm amazed every time I paddle around the Leavenworth area, not so much by the world class whitewater. More amazed that the majority of class V boaters in Washington have not paddled these stretches of river. That's ok leave it for the honey badgers.
