It's hard to decide whether it's best to boat in winter, or summer. On one hand you have an abundance of streams that are flowing through the entire winter, classic run after classic run. On the other is amazing weather, long days, and enough light to do multiple laps down a backyard classic. Plus there is nothing funner than creeking with a huge crew of motivated boaters.
